Book the whole property at Freedom Yurt Resorts and the address is shared. The bathrooms are not. Eight private yurt-cabins on three acres in Canyon Lake, Texas. Maximum occupancy for the entire property is 33 guests.

How 33 actually splits

Each cabin has its own posted number. Stay inside those numbers and the property total of 33.

•        Canyon — sleeps 6

•        Stillwater — sleeps 3

Need a hallway between two families? Book the connected pairs. Each side still has its own patio and hot tub.

•        Stillwater + Canyon — sleeps 9

•        Stetson + Bronco — sleeps 7

Grandparents take Luna. Cousins take Stargazer and Canyon. The friend group that stays up later takes Bronco. Nobody is sharing one kitchen with 30 people.

What the group actually gets

•        8 yurt-cabins, each with climate control, kitchenette, luxury bathroom, laundry, smart TV, and Wi-Fi

•        8 private patios, 8 charcoal grills, 8 hot tubs

•        A designated parking spot at each cabin, plus boat and trailer parking at the entrance

•        All eight cabins are pet-friendly — $50 pet fee, tell us at booking

Check-in is 4:00 p.m. Check-out is 10:00 a.m. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. No open fires. Use the grill that comes with the cabin.

Friend-group lake weekends

Split the cost by cabin instead of fighting over bedrooms. Rent a pontoon at Canyon Lake Marina. Come back to eight showers instead of one.
