All eight of our luxury yurt-cabins at Freedom Yurt Resorts are pet-friendly. Tell us you are bringing a pet when you book so we can note it on the reservation. There is a $50 pet fee per stay.
The house rules — short on purpose

Keep pets off the furniture. Extra cleaning fees apply if that does not happen.

Leash when you are outside the cabin.

Do not leave a pet unattended in the unit.

Clean up after them on the property. Every time.
That is the whole list. Follow it and the next guest — and the next dog — get the same clean cabin you walked into.
What the weekend actually looks like with a dog
The property is three wooded acres with private driveways. It is not an off-leash park, and it is not a kennel. It is a quiet resort where a well-mannered dog can be on the patio while you grill, nap in the cabin while you are home, and ride along to the places that welcome them.
Good rhythm for a pet weekend:

Morning walk on the property before it heats up.

Midday inside the climate-controlled cabin.

Evening on your own patio. Hot tub is for people. The dog gets the quiet and the smell of the grill.
